The
Atlantic Wind Symphony will celebrate its twefth season in 2009-2010. This unique community ensemble is comprised of 75+ talented
woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists from Atlantic Union College, area high schools, and adults from over 20 area
towns and cities. Combining musicality with a joyful spirit, the Atlantic Wind Symphony continues to re-establish the golden
era of the concert band. The AWS brings dedicated musicians together from several well-loved town and community bands, giving
them an opportunity to perform larger works for Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band. As a service to the community,
the Atlantic Wind Symphony offers performances throughout the area, seeking to further enrich the region's cultural community.

The Atlantic Wind Symphony, under the musical direction of Maestro Earl Raney, will present their annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 8:00 PM, Machlan Auditorium on the campus of Atlantic Union College, 338 Main Street, South Lancaster, Massachusetts.
Admission: $5 adults, $4 seniors/students, $10 family.All are welcome to a family reception following the concert at the Thayer Performing Arts Center.
